Katran recycled cotton

The word ‘katran’ translates to cutting, piece or shred. It is what is left over, unused and unwanted. Katran refers to the collection of left-over fabrics such as shredded cotton fabric waste from the fashion industry in Bangladesh. By combining fabric waste with the paper marché technique, left-over textile pieces are turned into home decoration products such as ornaments.
