Recycled fabrics

Our ‘Because We Care’ labeled chamotte pottery contains 30% – 40% recycled ceramics (after firing) and is treated with recycled glaze recovered from the production process. This contributes to solving the problem of cooked clay waste in the industry.

Apart from the initiatives above, we encourage our suppliers to work with renewable energy, heat recovery, water recycling and air filtration systems to limit the environmental impact of the production process. Furthermore, any small pieces of clay are collected during the production process and reused again to reduce waste. It is an ongoing process, and we are guiding our suppliers to move forwards together on our sustainability journey.
