Ceramic pottery is an essential product category in our assortment. If treated with care, ceramic products can last for many years, even centuries. Our ceramic pottery is durable and made from natural clay, thereby providing a strong alternative to products made from synthetic materials such as plastic. Nevertheless, these products also come with an environmental impact. More specifically, the firing process that turns clay into ceramics requires a high level of energy. Additionally, there is a rather high waste percentage of cooked clay in the production process as items with imperfections are rejected. Therefore, we are working together with our suppliers to make these products more sustainable.
